Red tomatoes contain a large amount of lycopene, which is a carotenoid and an antioxidant that is highly effective in combating free radicals.

The bright orange color in sweet potatoes, oranges, and apricots provide immune boosting vitamin A.

Yellow lemons and yellow bell peppers are full of vitamin C, a staple to combat illness.

Green arugula, spinach and collards are loaded with vitamins and minerals including copper that helps synthesize white blood cells to fight off illness.  

Blueberries are rich source of vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin B6, folate, potassium, copper, and manganese.
